Happy Easter dear readers! I grew up Catholic and celebrated most Easters in Argentina with my extended family.
When Eve was little we celebrated every year with regular visits by the Easter bunny who left fabulous gifts.
Her grandparents John and Marilyn Neuhart always had a cute Easter bonnet and basket for her. The photo below was taken by Andrew Neuhart of Eve and her grandpa John in 2001. Eve has wearing her spectacular bonnet made by Marilyn while John is wearing a bunny hat that suits him quite well, don't you think?
Today we've spent the day in complete leisure. Eve and I were looking for through photos while Greg weeded in the garden and that lengthy quake rolled on through. The ceanothus I planted in garden last year is in full bloom, with a gorgeous display of blue flowers.
Although a floral perfume is probably the right mode for Easter, I've chosen Chaparral solid for myself today. The herbal woodiness in this natural botanical perfume is exactly what I was craving for my day.
