Interview with Perfumer, Roxana Villa

Back in March, the blog editor over at Ziibra contacted me requesting an interview. I replied with a "Yes, I'd love to!" immediately. Here is the link below, what you should know before ready is that I get a bit passionate about what drives and triggers me. There's so much deception in perfume, which includes those working in the realms of botanical and natural, I can't help but bring some authenticity to this bizarre industry I am part of.

An Interview - Artisanal Perfume

During the Summer 2013 FRAGments show the perfume blogger Stevie Wilson went around and interviewed several of the artists exhibiting their scented potions. Since she wasn't able to get around to all the exhibitors she decided to interview many of the others by phone and via e-mail.

Stevie was very gracious in giving me the link to the interview to share with you all.

This interview was posted as part of the collective at the LA-Story.com.

The Long and Winding Road

Over at the Etsy Artisan Gallery Team blog members have been pairing up to feature interviews on each other. Jen of Polestar and I decided to pair up as interview buddies. I invite you to head over to our team blog where you can gather even more insights about my long and winding path into the fragrant world of botanical perfume.

Enjoy!

The jasmine sambac plants continue to over up their splendid little flowers, the tincture is getting stronger with each summer day.

Mutable

We have moved into the Astrological phase of Gemini. With this a fellow Etsy seller, Morgen of InkySpider and Kootsac, has featured our botanical perfume, Vera, in her blog post titled Gift Giving through the Zodiac - Gemini. Her blog is titled "What does the Golden Mean?", pretty clever.

Christiane Goncalves, one of the many perfume bloggers to emerge from Brazil, has done a series titled "My Spring with Artisan Perfumers" over at the Fragrantica website. You may recall I asked you to head on over to Fragrantica last year when our blog was submitted as one of the best fragrance blogs of 2009.

Roxana in Sniffapalooza Magazine

The editor of Sniffapalooza Magazine, Raphaella Brescia Barkley, in September began a new series showcasing Natural Perfumers. She interviewed me in the latest issue and published a review of a few of our perfumes. Click this link and scroll down about halfway into the issue where you will find the interview and reviews. Afterwards, journey down to the very bottom of the page to leave your comments about the magazine, the interview, and/or your experience of our perfumes.

The lineup includes profiles and interviews with fellow colleagues from the larger perfume houses to the smaller individual niche perfumers.
